We seem to be having a problem with the web. When we try to log into facebook or our yahoo email, it just carries us back to MSN page. Help, We just got our phones this week. Can someone please help us. My husband needs to be able to check his email with his phone.

This happens from time to time with the Pageplus proxy server. I usually try 4 or 5 times, and then try back in an hour or two. Once I do get to a site I want, I select if from History in the browser menu to save typing.
Some people have had better luck using another proxy server; there are forum posts with the details.

NONE of the Page Plus Approved Phones are made for internet, web or email access: See this note that Kitty Wireless puts on our phone page:

"PLEASE BE AWARE: Page Plus Approved phones are NOT MADE for full web access. They have a basic WAP browser which is meant for VERY light news and weather viewing, but NOT full web access. You should ONLY expect to use your Page Plus device for Talk, Text & Picture Messaging, and VERY light basic web usage. You will be able to access ONE page (The MSN Home Page) from which you can view basic news, basic weather, basic sports, but you will NOT be able to browse other websites or otherwise navigate the web from a Page Plus device easily. DO NOT expect to be able to do so."

We get those descriptions copied EXACTLY from PagePlusCellular.com - but we DO clarify with that big pink description. We cannot help what Page Plus tells you, but we DO clarify on our website.

Did you get your M2000 from Kitty Wireless or from PagePlusCellular.com?

This says the phone has an email client (app), which means that you do not have to use the browser to check your email. Just set up your Yahoo mail in the app, and click the app to check your mail.

I can tell you right now this phone, the Kyocera G2GO m2000, does NOT have an email client.

I am holding a G2GO M2000 in my hand, looking through every menu, and it does NOT have an email client application. I also checked the BREW store and there is no email app for download either.

I know what the description says on PagePlusCellular.com (we have updated the descriptions on OUR website), but there is no email client application on this device.

They might have just copied the Virgin Mobile XTC specs. The Virgin version of this phone comes with an email client.

No way! Want real email and real web? Stay on Page Plus and get an ALLOWED BUT UNSUPPORTED device such as a Windows Mobile device or a Droid! :-)

You can save TONS over Verizon, still get data on Page Plus, supplement it with Wifi, and be home free!!!!

All data applications work beautifully on my Motorola Droid X. I love it! I use facebook, email and internet. I have had no issues whatsoever and now with the 100 mb data, i have plenty to last throughout the month. Like kitty said go with Windows or Droids. I love Page Plus.

Yep, like Kitty said...
I do everything my iPhone friends do with my Droid Eris (just don't stream Pandora, etc.) for $29.95 / month. You really can't beat Page Plus.

I use a Droid Incredible, and it performs wonderfully on PP. I use about 50-60mb a month, as I use WiFi when I am at home or at work. Facebook, Gmail, eBay, Tapatalk, etc. all work great...Just make sure you use the mobile version of any apps or browser that you use....
