I agree with you. I was actually thinking of trading for a droid 2 global for the keyboard but I kind I like the big screen on the x. I don't know. Yes i agree, we do need to know who we are doing business with. I apologize for trying to move too fast and not take my time to get to know people here a bit more.

BSM, not trying to burst your bubble, just a few facts from my experience. I do think the Inc outperforms the X, in game play, mp3 playing, no video lag, and overall performance in general. I had an X to play with for a few weeks while I also had my Inc to compare. The difference in screen size is nice, but not that noticable. The X had some issues with the GPS, and I use that quite a bit. The GPS on the Inc is great. WiFi is awesome. And I think battery life might be a little better. Is there something you DON'T like about the Inc?

Basically I just wanted the bigger screen but since you say it is not noticable maybe it is not worth it. What I really like about the incredible is the htc sense interface though. Thanks for letting me know from your personal experience Bob. So has your incredible been good on page plus?

Oh, it's been better than good... I live way out in the country, and don't have service out here other than Verizon. And some phones would drop calls while in the house, but in the time I've had the Inc, I think I've dropped maybe 2. It is great on PP. the 100 megs I have on the tnt 1200 is more than enough to sync email when I'm not near wifi. Give it a try! Any questions, just ask..

I just sold my DX and purchased the Inc. because the wi-fi on the X was just not strong enough for a plan like PP. The Inc. wifi reception is way better. I agree, the larger screen was nice, especially with "man hands" (seinfeld reference). The smaller screen on the Inc. has it's advantages, though. It's easier to handle and store. the only issue I have with the inc. is the huge data draw that I cannot figure out. When I inadvertatnly leave the data on it's pulling at a huge rate and I can't figure out whats pulling it! One afternoon it pulled 20 mb when I accidently left it on.

So overall in performance and just plain overall feel, jeffrejames which phone do you prefer? Also did you find carrying the droid x around annoying? Yeah I got "man hands" and a droid x screen does sound good for me. As for your data issue I don't what could be causing it. Maybe some apps are running in the background. But on my inc, I just turned of the 3g and turned on wifi and there hasn't been an issue with it pulling on unnecessary data.

Try using Droid Wall and 3gWatchdog for data usage. You can find them in the Market.

Jeff, I leave my Incredibles WiFi and 3G on all the time. I have ZERO data leakage. It has to be something you installed. I check emails myself (Don't have sync running all the time), and I use Tapatalk here on Kitty, and check facebook maybe twice a day, and I never come close to using my 100mb of data a month. Install 3g Watchdog and it will tell you what is using what.

I have 3G watchdog which does not tell me where it's going, only that it is being used. I have the same apps on it that I used on my old X and never had this kind of issue. I may have to spring a few bucks for a pro data watcher to figure it out. I did notice that the droid x defaults to wifi when both the data and wifi are turned on. The Inc. seems to default to the data line when both are active. Anyways..............
BSM, there is very little difference in the overall functionality between the 2 phones. I don't think there was any drop off when I went to the Inc.. The X does have the gingerbread OS on it which is an advantage over the Incs. old froyo version. I'm told that the Inc. will be getting soon, in JULY:mad: (Oh, it seems that HTC is pulling a Page Plus delayed announcement thing). Really the screen size is the big difference which I liked when I was using it, but didn't like when I was carrying it. If you are happy with your Inc., I'd just keep it.

My Inc is rooted and running CyanogenMod 7 which has Gingerbread. Gets a little better battery life....

Turn off sync.They[droids all sync behind your back and it takes 20 mbs exactly to do that.I learned this the hard way,too.

LOL - thanks for the laugh! It is a sign of our times that people now use their phones for EVERYTHING. I still question the wisdom of watching movies on phones. I do that on our TV or go to the movies (saw Rise of the Apes today).

Somehow I missed your question or I would have replied earlier. I really enjoyed it. Sue thought it was a bit violent but she thinks anything more intense than ping-pong is violent. The special effects are AMAZING. No monkey suits. No rubber face makeup. They filmed the actors who represented the Apes and then used computer generated imagery to put ape skin and fur on them. The result, among other things, is that the facial expressions are intense and add a lot to the emotions in the story. I recommend it highly (5 stars).

Well Im just posting here again to let everyone know that Im selling my incredible for $170. that includes shipping and any paypal fees. It is good to great condition. I will also include some accesories that I have recently bought from some friends. this includes 3 extended batteries. One that fits in the original back cover. two extended back covers for the two fat extended batteries. one unused screen protector. charger and usb cable. and cables to connect it to your tv. The phone already has a screen protector on it. it is also is rooted and has the new official GB update rom on it. If interested message me if you want pics give me youre email and I'll send some. Im really looking to sell it. I dont really want the droid x anymore and I dont feel like trading anymore, but im open to any good deals or offers. Also the phone is activated on PP so the esn is clean will work on PP. It expires sometime on November (not sure when, going to have look that up), but it doesnt have any funds or airtime or whatever you wanna call it on the account. So yea thats basically it. I like the phone but I need the extra money. Oh yea I forgot to mention I have the verizon silicone case for the inc also.
