I am looking for cheap places where I can buy a smart phone. Please do not answer Ebay or Amazon because I know about both of these. And I was wondering has anyone on here heard of Cellcow.com I found some cheap phones on there website, but i looked up reviews on google and didnt come up with even a trace of the website. Has anyone ever bought from this website?

Ebay is okay, you just have to do your homework. I have bought and sold at least a hundred phones on Ebay without a hitch.

You can try swappa.com. I've never used it before but it looks a craigslist for android phones. It also looks like you can negotiate with the sellers on the prices. Like the other person said ebay is good just do some researching and you'll find someone trustworthy with a good phone at a good price.

We buy ours from eBay, generally. We have really good luck with these eBay Sellers:

gazelle-store
justcellular
skymaster28 (for accessories)
blackberrylots (for wholesale bulk purchases)

Buy from Smh. I bet if you told him what you wanted he'd try to find it.

Good point, 100% agreed. SMH has a good reputation around here and has reliable products. I'd buy from him.

Ebay and Amazon are really great options (stating the obvious, I know, since you are well aware of those sellers). Craigslist is also a good choice, IF you find something you like locally and are willing to meet someone to look at/purchase the item. There are a couple of lesser known electronics sellers such as Ben's Warehouse, I believe is the name, and newegg.com is another, although you will probably pay full price at newegg. Bottom line, there are a LOT of places to buy new/used electronics. The BEST thing I have found is to read A LOT, about the places you are considering to purchase from and the products themselves. WHERE I buy is almost as important to me as WHAT I buy. Its important to me that the place I buy from have great reviews in customer service and shipping, as well as the general business practices of the vendor. Depending on what I am buying, the warranty and return policy is of course a major factor. Reading the online reviews from each specific vendor always aids me in making a decision.

All that being said, SMH is a seller with a great reputation who is dependable. I have personally dealt with them and the transaction was professional and a pleasure!

Your right I can't find anyting anywhere about Cellcow.com. Looks legit but without reviews I would be leary of purchasing from them.

I see they just started their business in June of this year. There are no BBB files so they are probably getting along well at this point. If you want to try them, I know most visa cards have on-line fraud protection. As already has been pointed out, ebay is your best bet, with built in protection.
