Hey all! New here (hoping to win a free PIN too!). Anyway, I recently (this morning at 1am) setup my HTC Sprint Hero to work on PagePlus through Kitty Wireless. Gotta say, I was quite impressed, you guys had that page for manual programming, got a free activation, quite easy, It was a blast. But I was wondering, I discovered that QNC could be used for free and was wondering if there was someway I could program it to the hero (i.e. is it compatible) manually through EPST (preferable) or QPST (dont really want to download copyrighted material).
Any help would fantastic and you guys are awesome!
Thanks,
Southern George

Good question, George! I wish I knew more about QNC, but I'm not that technically savvy in that area. Hopefully someone else who is will come along and give you some info....

QNC isn't really free I don't think. It makes a connection via voice, rather than data. When people were on Verizon, I think it was kind of free with unlimited nights and weekends. I am not sure how ppc feels about it. If you are on UTnT I would be careful. I actually thought about using it on my 1200 TNT plan, as I usually have a bunch of voice minutes left, but I don't think my phone supports it.

Is it that it uses your minutes, or that it operates on an analog frequency? Cause from what I read, most ppc customers are able to access qnc at no charge, but I dont think you have to be calling to access it. But Im not sure. Anyone out there thats tried this, does it use your minutes?
