I know this is posted on that other site, but I thought I'd start a fresh one here for KW fourm users.

There are phones that are in between a smart & dumb phone. I have one. It is not smart but it is not totally dumb. My phone has an openwave browser doesn't work on PP-impossible to configure. Might work if flashed to pp software and can receive certain MMS (Picture Message, MP3s but not midi's)

Bought a moto Q and sent it out to be fixed and never got it back. My husbands friend from work had a droid he was selling for $50 to his nephew, I bought it (gave him $75+ with the extras). Love the droid, wouldn't want anything else.

Just picked up a Samsung Omnia II for my wife.

Fantastic phone. There are a few owners of them on here. I have one that I bought from Micallen which he bought from Cardiac. Great phone. You can use the search feature to find other "Omnia" posts. Just search on Omnia, not "Omnia II" and you will get more hits.

Welcome to the forum!

Using a Rooted HTC Droid Incredible for me, and Samsung Zeal for my wife, she text alot and likes the flip phone, very pleased with both. My DInc gets good battery life, lasting a day no problem with a good amount of surfing on Wifi. Her Zeal gets has epic battery life, 4+ days with her sending lots of txt a day and a hour of talk per day.

Big step up from our Alltel PPC6800/Moguls we used to have for the last 3 years. $144 per month for the 2 phones and now only $60 for the 2... Kitty made it painless, I was ported and up and running on both phones in just 40 minutes or so. 2 thumbs way up from me, I brag and tell everyone about the excellent CS and service from PP. 100mb is lite for me but I use wifi at home and work. For her she will not use 10mb of it.

Thanks for the new lease on cell service, I was getting to the point of nearly getting rid of my service it was getting so pricey but this makes me HAPPY. Great prices!!
Keep up the great work,

Lonnzo

Was previously using BB Storm but was not happy with Storm so transferred ESN to BB Bold using Kitty. Have MMS, Native browser and using Shangmail push email. All is working great

Started with a W385, bought a new Kyocera S4000 but didn't like it, just switched to a Moto RAZR V3m. The V3m is my favorite so far.

PINK Blackberry Pearl, that now works with data and MMS thanks to my friend Micallen. Using shangmail and Opera Mini. Thinking about getting a Pixi. Or switching back to my PINK BB Curve. Not going back to my Droid Incredible though, I tried 6 ways from Sunday to like the touch screen and I just couldn't handle it.
:( Maybe Motorola's latest and greatest will at least have a physical keyboard in addition to the touch screen, but I'm not holding my breath... :/

I wont carry a purse.

You wouldn't be carrying a purse; you would be carrying a man bag.

We now have 2 Palm Pixis and 1 LG VX8350 (our spare, biking, hiking phone).
Kitty Wireless did a quick port for me this morning on the second Pixi.
It actually would have been done faster but I typed a 'B' where there was a '8' in the ESN. :o

Kitty Rocks!

Although I have a droid, Im quite conservative with it. I use the WI-FI at public places. I just like freedom of choice with a smartphone.
