There is now a live chat window at the top of the Main forum homepage. We're going to give it a trial run! Basically, when you are done reading/responding to threads, you can hit the "Forum" button in the top left hand corner of your screen to go back to the Main Forum Index, and participate in a chat with anyone who is currently logged into the forums.
Just another cool little feature. We'll see how it works out.

Whenever I see this thread title, I think of Dana Carvey in "Master of Disguise".
"Put a squeeze on your chat box."

I really like the chat box. Sweet... folks saying good morning and last night signing off...way cool! It really feels like a connected community. Nice to see new people signed up or maybe they have just changed their log in names. ;_))

I think it's a cool little feature, too. :)

We've temporarily disabled the ChatBox while we diagnose an issue with server CPU load.

What about a separate page for the Chat box, with a link to the chat on the main forum index. That could reduce the cpu load.

It looks like it "refreshes" a lot. Can the automatic refresh be turned off?
