OMG I could not find a gas station!!!!!!

Ok... so funny story.....

Bought my new car almost a year ago... and it came with a free year's subscription to Sirius Radio with Traffic & Travel Link.

Travel Link let's you find the nearest gas stations with prices, etc. Well, the radio died in my new car, so the dealership replaced it with a new radio. And when they did that, my Travel Link did not get restored.

So yesterday, when I went to use Travel Link, I couldn't use it.... I NEEDED to find a gas station. OMG!

I pulled over, called up Sirius radio, had them terminate all trials, subscribe me to the real service, and paid for it. My travel link was back on within 5 minutes.

The nearest gas station was.... 1/8th of a mile away, around the curve.

LOL Ok. I'm now officially DEPENDENT upon GPS technologies. LOL :) Thought I'd share.

where was your verizon pr PPC phone? you could have found it with the gas buddy app

I thought about that after.... had my Droid 3 sitting right there next to me, could have used that... but all I could focus on was that my in-dash screen system was NOT telling me where the nearest gas station was. You'd swear to god I was blond, at that moment. LOL :*) So a dumb American chick calls a call center overseas to get them to charge her card and turn back on her Travel Link so she could find the nearest gas station.... and that dumb chick, in this case, was yours truly LOL :)
