Maybe I am jumping the gun, have only had this headache for 45 mins now. Ported my old number onto a supposedly old Droid 3... I am able to make my first outgoing call, but when I try to call my cell it says 'sorry, we cannot complete your call'... tried both *228 SEND and *22890. still have same issue. pulled battery also. Cell says it's programmed with the correct number under about phone. Should I wait a while longer?

Checked and my old cell and it's service is totally disconnected. Port was done thru Kitty Wireless

Any tips much appreciated

I just looked up your port. You're the only Droid 3 port we had today.

I did confirm that the phone number was ported in, and it was properly placed on the MEID that you gave us during the port process. I'll send you an email now with some tips.

The most common reason why a device will not program is usually that we had the wrong MEID. Can you triple check this MEID in the email I sent you to make sure it matches? Sometimes there is one or two characters off.

Don't get worried yet. This is very common that something glitches due a number of different reasons. The good news is that they are all fixable and it looks like Kitty is already on it!:)

I am trying not to stress.. Electronics are not my friend. Yes Kitty is great. I just replied to you email Kitty. Thanks for starting to help so quickly :)

Just responded with some more questions. I like to ask questions before diagnosing it :) I have to run out for about an hour, but do not worry, when I return I'll continue to help you troubleshoot.
