I guess this is my introduction and soliloquy.
I had activated a phone with Kitty last January on Pageplus after getting her help on something on Howards Forum.I played with that phone a little while I continued to use my simple dumb phone most of the time.
Well,at my job,we are going to be required to receive and respond to emails during the day,as well as send and receive pictures starting in January.I work in construction.
So,I say to myself, "No problem,I'll just put some money back on the phone on Pageplus.That phone will be perfect."So I go looking for Kitty.The phone has been off since the summer,I should have kept a few bucks on it,but I really wasn't using it,and the dumb phone(really dumb,and on AT&T) was OK.
I go to the Kitty Wireless site and am disappointed to find that she no longer accepts Paypal.I really don't like to give out my credit card info over the phone or online( I had a minor incident once and could easily see how it could have been a disaster).
So,I decide to go back to Howard's forum and see if I can find some info.Then,I buy a PIN for the phone online.Then,I call Pageplus customer service to activate/reactivate the phone and they refuse to do so.It is a Blackberry.I had no idea there was an issue.
And...what happened to HOFO? I haven't been on there since last winter and received a lot of good info and help there back then.The Pageplus forum is dead.Like the "blind leading the blind".Kitty isn't there,and I don't think any other dealers or people "in the know".Seems like lots of people at my intelligence level,which is extremely low.Seems like half the responses are like "you need to post that in the appropriate sub forum,you jerk" kind of thing. Boo,HOFO.
Well,so I found this forum and think I can find some usefull help here judging from some of the threads that I have read.I'll post some questions regarding my situation in a new thread.In Kitty I trust.
