In the 'description' you'll note: Guaranteed to Activate on Verizon Wireless. Not for pre-paid or any other service providers besides Verizon.

Is there ANY reason, with a clear ESN, this wouldn't activate on PP? Seller's got several posted with the same 'disclaimer'.

I think they just dont want to help people who want to flash the phone to cheap cdma carriers like cricket or metropcs,

Exactly. It should work fine on Page Plus.

A lot of folks don't even know about PP, so they can't make the disclaimer.... That is just how one of the descriptions read to a phone I bought a while ago.

The are pretty comparable phones. Either one will be good.

I have 2 sagas and a I760,. really like them both. My daughter uses and loves the I760 but has one saga as a spare phone and I was able to buy a turbo sim for the saga that allowed me to unlock the GSM side and now I have the GSM side working for my Canadian Cell phone and as soon I cross the border I flip to CDMA and I am on PP. Works great and it is a pretty solid phone. One of them has a problem in that the mouse freezes but with it being a touch screen that is not a major issue
