    Page Plus Advertising

    I'm new to the forums. I want to say Kitty rocks. I ported my father over from Verizon to Page Plus, he used like 70 minutes a month. He was on their 39.99 plan and with taxes close to $50 a month . I set him up on the $80 standard plan good for a year. He is saving money and is happy ! I tell people about Page Plus and their plans and that they use the Verizon network and people are like what's that. I explain that their a Verizon mvno . I tell to them they can bring any Verizon phone except prepay phones and blackberries on their service. They still look at me dumb struck . I even told co-workers they can save money. I really feel people are stuck in the mentality that they need to be in a 2 year contract and receive a discounted phone. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can convince my co-workers that Page Plus will save them money over Verizon and get the same coverage. I'm in Pennsylvania where roaming is not an issue. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

    We have 3 test phones here for local people. We loan out our test phones and let them go try it. We let them compare the coverage, call quality, etc. and then we compare the pricing.

    Ask them to show you their cellular phone bill. Look at how many peak, n/w and m2m minutes they are using. Find the best PPC plan for them based on those minutes, show them the money!!!!
    Same with messages and data. What we find is MANY folks are willing to just give up data for a MUCH lower rate on talk & text. Or if they REALLY want data, they can still get it with a smartphone, if they manage it well.

    Kitty I was hooked on the 450 mins 250 text a month with Verizon for 2 years. my plan cost me 45.85 a month after tax. Now When it come time to redo my contract A friend of mine told me about PP he said I am getting 1200 mins 2000 text and 100Mg data for 29.95 a month. I could not get over it. I have been with PP now for one year my savings over Verizon for one year is. 190.80 I could not be happier about it. And we are getting 3000 text a month now. I never use that much but hey if i need it I got it. I was using about 250 min month with verizon and PP now that I have changed jobs I use up about 500-600 mins a month 800 text a month. and my data I use about half of it a month. so the 29.95 deal is just what I needed.all this time. I was just tossing money out the window with verizon. And I liked PP so much I became a dealer for them. And like you have said before it gets better everyday. the more ppl find out about them the more I sell.

    That's great, geothom65! There is plenty of room in this business for many more dealers. As long as you treat your customers right, you will do well. Page Plus sells itself, all yo have to do is provide AMAZING customer service!

    I like the idea of loaning out a spare phone to prospective customers. I have several spares. One even has some standard plan minutes on it. I think I will try that idea.

    We have over 10 loaner phones out at any given time in our local area to customers or potential customers. We cannot do this for online customers, but local folks we can do other things for :-/

    You know that is a good idea. I should get some to let ppl take and try out so they can see how the service works for them and the area they live in.

    I always figured that's what the $2 balance was for. Atleast that's how we use it. To let potential customers check coverage.
