Wow.....
This is something to think about if you use your cell phone in another country, including Canada(EH) and Mexico.

So we were having a conversation about this at lunch today. One of the guys I work with is on T-Mobile they go camping "up-north" in Minnesota and he called T-mobile about the cost of "data roamong" thinking it would be nice to get weather on his phone while camping. The T-mobile rep said "data roaming is free but if you log on to a Canadian tower it will be really expensive"......So he (the rep) recommended not selecting data roaming unless they were 15 miles from the border just to be sure it was a US based tower. We all got a chuckle!

I was on T-Mobile service for many years. I also work in Downtown Detroit, right at the boarder of USA and Canada. In the highrise, my phone was always roaming to Rogers Wireless in Canada because the T-Mobile signal was weaker. I was always paying $5.00 - $10.00 a month extra and T-Mobile couldn't do anything about it. I switched to Boost, which is CDMA, and the problem went away.
