    Verizon PrePaid Phones

Before switching to P+ last summer, I bought a Verizon prepaid phone to check out coverage in my area. I read that after 6 months it is possible to activate these phones on P+, but in other places I've read that you can never activate these phones. Which is correct?

Prepaid phones will not activate because of the changes made by Verizon to the programming of the ROM of the phone.

We have been told from customers who have tried this that...... Straight Talk phones, that you buy in Walmart, as long as they have NEVER been activated on StraightTalk, have been known to work on Page Plus. The key is they CANNOT be activated on Straighttalk first.

    Cool

I had a Straighttalk phone (activated on Straighttalk for about 7 months before I found PP) working on PP for almost a year. Just replaced it because it was starting to fall apart. I had no trouble at all, except I never did get the data to work. I didn't mind though, as it was my son who was using it.

There are occasions where a banned ESN will slip through, but it's not the norm.
