    Water Damaged Phone?

Hello, I have a Samsung Convoy phone that was damaged by water last Summer. The front screen looks normal, however the main screen,... when the phone is opened just stays on the Verizon screen and doesn't ever finish loading. I don't care about the phone never liked it anyhow,..but I do have two very important pictures on it that I'd like to recover. Are there any options at all?

    Thank You,
    Jeff

Have you tried BitPim? I am assuming the pics aren't on an SD card. If the phone won't boot up I doubt there is much you can do but BitPim would be the only thing I would know to suggest.

Did the pictures get sent via MMS at all? If so you could either see if the person who received them still has a copy.

If it was me I would try to plug it in to compurt with usb when under power and keep my fingers crossed , it might show up in the drive section , like a thumb drive.

Thanks for the replies,..no it wasn't sent to anyone,...and I usually transfer them to other media, but it was the day after the pictures were taken that the damage occurred,...so I guess I wasn't quick enough on the draw. Yes, I think I will try the usb data cable and cross my fingers as suggested.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Put the phone in a "closed" bowl of raw rice for awhile (e.g. overnight) and see if that helps.
