    Net10 to PagePlus?

Can a Net10 phone be activated on PP?

Net10 and Tracfone devices are LOCKED to their proprietary billing software system (for credits, minutes, etc.)

Too bad, you would have had a new customer.

They sell their phones so cheaply they can't have people buying them to go with other carriers.

We added, on average, 250 new customers per day. Not being able to use Net10 devices is surely not going to slow that down. It's just the way it is.

What is stopping them? They can't afford a new phone? There isn't a phone out there like that one they have that can be on P+?

Sadly, there are many people who simply can't afford a new phone.

There are LOTS of people that have old Vzw phones that came off of 2 year contracts just sitting forgotten and unused in drawers or boxes in their homes. You friend should ask friends, and your friends' friends should ask their other friends, until somebody comes up with an old Vzw phone that can be given to your friend for free to use on PPC. A good friend gave me my first smart phone, an old Vzw Omnia i910. I'm sure that people would be even more willing to give away old unused Vzw dumb phones.
